Set against an island of haunting landscapes, and alongside the words of Phillippe Soupault’s poem “Georgia,” this short film is a visual poem of a young man’s profound longing. The tone of the protagonist is at times unclear, wavering between tenderness and desperation, hope and bleak sentimentalism.
